Good bye, but not for good...

Well time came to sell the neon, sold it to a friend of mine so i will still see it around, i'll still take photoshoots of it and whatnot.

He already fixed alot of little stuff that was wrong with the car that i never got around to fixing, which is great!

Looking and working great!

So far i have had the neon out for 2 weeks or so, getting better everyday!

Did a few things to it, vinyl door panel inserts, replaced rear door panels, etc... Going to cut and buff the car on sunday, she'll look shinier ;)

E-testing the neon tomorrow at 4pm, then shooting over to get my new stickers and she'll be on the road!!!!

Getting Warmer!!

Woohoo!! its getting warmer and it has not snowed in awhile, i think spring is here to stay!

Last Weekend i had the neon outside the garage, put the new carpet from the junker white neon i had (which by the way went to the scrappers, saved some parts from it) along with some plastics in the interior back in, fixed the carpet in the trunk, etc... Although i found out something interesting though.... Basically there is a slight difference in 2 door and 4 door carpets, especially in the rear by the rear seat, no biggie.. i'll take some pics of the differences later.

The green neon in the driveway is a buddy of mine's neon that we're working on to get safetied and on the road for him.

Upsetting ...

Its very upsetting that the fact that i see my neon every single day and i cant even drive it because its nice for 2 days then snows for 2 days.

it doesnt help the fact that its brutally cold regardless if its nice out or not, either way i cant wait to pull the neon out again and start working on it!

She was awoken!

On March 7th, 2009 the neon has been un-tarped and fired up for the first time in months, along with being pulled out of the garage under its own power (freshly rebuilt motor). No problems arised when i first turned the key, good sign!

Some new things are being done this year, along with fixing some stuff that broke during the last pulling of the motor, and she actually gets carpet this year!
